HULL - A missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen with a registered sex offender is a runaway from a group home.

Rayna Griffin was last seen leaving a home in the town of Hull at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday with a registered sex offender who Portage County Sgt. Jeff Coey confirmed was 21-year-old Terry L. Warren.

"We have nothing to indicate that she has been harmed," Coey said. "Obviously we're concerned because there is a sex offender believed to be involved."

Warren was taken into custody in Wisconsin Rapids, but Griffin wasn't with him. Coey couldn't say whether Warren was cooperating with the investigation but confirmed he was still in custody.

Warren was convicted in 2015 of third-degree sexual assault, according to court records. He was sentenced to two years in prison and five years of extended supervision.

Griffin was described as a black girl with two braids in her hair and was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, black pants and gold chain. She is about 5 feet tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
